North American Black Bears Photo Workshop

Photograph wild North American black bears in their natural environment. DNR estimates there are 12,000-15,000 black bears in Minnesota. Online instructional webinar in advance of the workshop to prepare. Hands-on assistance in photographing adult, juvenile and baby black bears on the ground and in trees. Maximum of 10 participants.

Winter Wildlife in Grand Teton National Park

4 full days of scouting and shooting in the park and on the elk refuge. Itinerary is fluid based on sighting reports, but will definitely include moose, elk, bison, big horn sheep and trumpeter swans. Additional possible sightings may include grizzly bear, mountain goat, eagle, coyote, wolf and fox. Beautiful landscape photo opportunities, timed for best light. Max of 3 participants.

8 photo sessions selected from the following species: Siberian tiger, Snow leopard, Amur leopard, Grizzly bear, Mountain lion, Arctic Fox, Red Fox, Grey Fox, Cross Fox, Canadian Lynx, Bobcat, Gray Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Coyote, Porcupine, Raccoon, Badger, Skunk, Pine marten and more. The animals are healthy and will have their gorgeous winter coats. Photograph wildlife at eye level in natural settings and fresh snow. The most common lens used is a 70-200mm. An instructional online webinar in advance of the workshop that covers wildlife photography composition tips, camera settings and recommended equipment. Guidance and assistance throughout the workshop. Evening sessions for critiques, post processing demonstrations and more. Maximum of 12 participants.
