Friday night presentation and then EXCLUSIVE access to the park at DAWN on Saturday for this group ONLY, making this a one of a kind opportunity. Transportation THROUGHOUT the Park to carry your gear. PLUS animals are treated to specific areas within their habitats best for photographs. Evening session in-person the night before to prepare you for getting the most out of your camera and the experience. Hands-on assistance in photographing wildlife in a variety of settings, including outdoor habitats, open ranges and unobstructed views. You won’t find a similar venue with the variety of photographic opportunities for this cost anywhere except at Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Many participants have attend the workshop every year, because of its value. Maximum of 12 participants.

Join professional wildlife photographer instructor Kathleen Reeder for an incredible 3-day Birds By Day/Bats By Night photo workshop in Amado, Arizona, about 30 minutes south of Tucson, in the desert southwest at the Pond at Elephant Head Ranch. This workshop is open to six photographers only and is held on private property that has been catering to bird photographers for many years. In the early morning and late afternoon, you’ll photograph birds on natural desert perches and desert critters from ground/water level hides. In the evening, with the use of the PhotoTrap flash system that will be set up for you, you will participate in high-speed bat photography as bats fly across the pond for a drink of water. With expert wildlife photography instruction before and during the workshop, and an unbelievable quantity of birds, bats and critters to photograph in the Arizona desert, you will most certainly capture lots of great images!

Join Kathleen Reeder for this interactive online session to learn her post processing workflow. In this session, Kathleen will explain each step as she processes out-of-camera RAW images to be ready for publishing to her website and social media. This session will help you establish a methodical post processing workflow and understand the subtle, but important tweaks needed to make good wildlife photo truly GREAT. Participants will receive an instructional PDF document detailing Kathleen’s post processing workflow. The session will also be recorded and available for viewing after the session.

– Google NIK Filters and Kathleen’s favorite NIK filters for her images
